- HVAC – correct settings, operating properly, check/change filters, if needed
- Plumbing and appliances – signs of leaks, drips, check for proper functioning
- Doors, windows, floors, driveways, and walkways – look for signs of vandalism, pest infestations, or other
- Lawn, garden, fences, gates – secure, well-kept, no drainage issues
- Verify pool and lawn maintenance companies are doing their jobs
Home Watch is defined as a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. It is not a house sitting or concierge service, nor a property management service, though elements of these services can be contracted and included. Home watch is very specifically a dedicated, routine, onsite visual inspection to ensure your home is monitored, and signs of concern are uncovered early and can be addressed quickly.
